Fasting for weight loss- Some Tips
1. Do Intermittent Fasting
In case of intermittent fasting, all you need to do is fast on specific days. You can eat moderately on other days. You need not be too strict about your food on the non-fasting days. But, you also must not gorge on high calorie food on all the non fasting days. That will make the plan ineffective. Simply put, you need to fast on certain days and eat moderately for the rest of the days. And you can even let yourself go and cheat your diet occasionally; without having to worry about the disruption of your diet plan.
2. Consume Lots of Fluid on Fasting Days
Do consume a lot of water on the fasting days. Do not let your body get dehydrated. Drink enough fruit juices to keep you going throughout the day. Even if you are fasting, you will need some energy to keep you going.
3. Start your Fasting Period from when you Sleep and Continue for the Next 24 hours
Starting your fasting period from the time you sleep is always a better idea. This has got a psychological benefit. You do not spend more time thinking that you have started fasting and hence do not crave for food.
Intermittent fasting is a great way to boost the metabolism. Unlike other forms of fasting, it does not promote fat storage. Continue the cycle regularly and you will never get the weight back. Weight loss fasting is a great way to shed those extra pounds.
